November Reading Recap
Well, now that December is almost over, it’s probably about time that I post my November reads. November was an incredibly slow month due to the fact that I went back to work part time. And because I tend to slow way down towards the end of the year. I think it’s the holiday stress that gets to me. Anywho, I finished out the month with 8 books read. One For My Enemy started off with the audio format, but ended up finishing on Kindle because my library loan expired. I think I’ve also come to the conclusion that while I like Olivie Blake, her stories tend to start off really strong and draw you in and then get too cerebral to end strong. My favorite books this month were Tastes Like Shakkar by Nisha Sharma, Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood, and The Hunting Moon by Susan Dennard.

I started December with some contemporary books to try to jumpstart my reading. I also have a ton of ARC’s that I was approved for all at the same time that has me nervous, but I will get them done—especially because I am super excited to read To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods by Molly X. Chang. If you’ve been following any of the drama in the bookish world, it’s one of the books that was caught up in the review bombing on Goodreads.
