CURRENT PRODUCTION TIME FOR MOST ITEMS IS 10 BUSINESS DAYS!
Business days do not include weekends or holidays. Some items will take longer, especially items that are custom cut. Please send an email to jen@thesadbasset.com if you have questions concerning your order.
TSB hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm EST.
We are closed weekends and all US holidays.
Payment
TSB accepts credit cards and PayPal.
You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal:
You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the “Pay Now” button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account. Please let me know if you are having an issue with payment.
WHEN YOU PAY:
If no stamping/personalization instructions accompany your order, your item will be stamped according to the information in the item description. Sometimes that means it will be stamped as shown in the photo, other times it means you will receive a blank piece of metal. I will make every effort to contact you through the email provided at checkout, but if I don't hear back by the shipping date, the item will be sent via the item description. If you later decide to send these elements back for personalization, reprocessing fees will apply according to each piece as well as additional shipping charges to return them back to you. Order cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of the order being placed.
Virginia state residents are subject to a 6% sales tax.
New York state residents are subject to an 8.875% sales tax.
Upon making a purchase you are agreeing to all of my policies and descriptions posted in each listing.
Shipping
I ship items on a daily basis M-F, excluding holidays.
TSB is closed Saturdays, Sundays and all US holidays.
Items are created and shipped in the order in which they are received. All items ship from my store gift packaged via USPS with tracking. If you need an item shipped faster than USPS Priority or would like to upgrade to DHL, UPS or FedEx, please send me and email PRIOR to purchasing.
Please understand that all deliveries are subject to the Terms of Use and Services policy of the shipping service (USPS, FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.) and NOT TSB. I provide tracking on all orders. Once they leave my hands, it is up to the buyer to track their items. If a package is lost, every effort will be made to find your item. This may include initiating a lost package report with the USPS or filing a mail theft claim with your local police department. Please let me know in a timely manner if your package has not arrived.
Please note that you may not be able to track your order for 24-36 hours after it has been shipped due to a delay in the USPS computer system. In rare cases, USPS may be negligent in scanning the tracking barcode upon picking up the package. This produces a default message on USPS.com acknowledging that the tracking number has been generated, but not acknowledging receipt by USPS, and it indirectly implies that the package did not ship. If this occurs, please be assured that your order did indeed ship. Usually the tracking information shows up when the package arrives at the destination distribution center. International orders also ship with tracking, but often times will not update between leaving the US and clearing customs in their destination country. International orders can take up to 8 weeks to arrive, depending on transit and if there are any delays in customs processing.
I ONLY SHIP TO THE ADDRESS PROVIDED AT CHECKOUT... so please be sure that it is up to date. I cannot edit the shipping address for your purchase in ANY WAY. Please be sure that your address or the Ship To address is accurate PRIOR TO PAYMENT. Any items returned to me due to inaccurate mailing address provided at checkout, will be the sole responsibility of the BUYER to pay for additional shipping costs to re-package/re-ship to you.
Your custom order is set in motion & materials are ordered as soon as payment has cleared. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL!! Incomplete details for transactions can result in your item being delayed.
Though rare, and certainly not expected, USPS delays and other complications can arise. TSB can only guarantee the date your purchase is taken to the post office. TSB absolutely cannot guarantee when the package will arrive to it's destination. International buyers are responsible for your countries' taxes and fees. I will not alter a customs label.
**UK BUYERS**
The UK has a very low threshold for imported items. Purchases over $23 (£15) are subjected to a VAT fee. There is also a handling fee of £8 payable to Royal Mail. I do NOT have any control of these things, nor will I falsify a customs label. PLEASE make sure you are comfortable with these fees before purchase.

Refunds and Exchanges
Custom and personalized orders are NON-REFUNDABLE. Shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE unless your purchase is canceled before your item is shipped.
If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me so I can correct the situation.
Non-Personalized, Non-Custom Items returned in their original condition (i.e. nothing broken or missing) within 10 days of item receipt will be given a refund of the item price less shipping. Please contact me before shipping an item back so I can help you with shipping instructions.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

Additional Policies and FAQs
M E T A L S:
Like all metals, they may mar or scratch with wear/friction & will age over time based on frequency of use. They may also tarnish or damage depending on the pH of the body & the circumstances of wear; in the shower, pool, prolonged sun exposure, etc. Some people have reactions to plated metals and sterling and gold alike. These can range from minor skin irritation to the metal turning black. These reactions are unique to a specific individual. If you are sensitive to a particular metal, PLEASE let me know BEFORE purchase. Want to freshen up your metal or restore that original finish it came with? I recommend using a superfine piece of steel wool.
>>About the Metals<<
Aluminum : Lightweight and durable, aluminum will never rust or tarnish, making it a great sterling alternative. Most of the aluminum I use is the same grade as used in cookware. Please note that it is lightweight. This does NOT mean it is cheap!
Copper : Copper was the first metal ever manipulated by humans. Copper will naturally patina over time. This can mean a darkening of the metal or it turning green. Copper turns green because of an oxidation reaction; that is, it loses electrons when exposed to water and air.It can be lightly buffed to return it to it's natural shine. Some people are sensitive to copper, if you have metal allergies, please do not order copper jewelry.
Bronze / Brass / NuGold : Brass is a metal composed primarily of copper and zinc. Because Brass is an alloy of copper, it has most of the same attributes. It will darken over time and can be lightly buffed to return it to it's natural shine.
Pewter : Pewter is considered the fourth precious metal in the world behind platinum, gold and silver. Pewter is an alloy of tin and copper. Pewter does not tend to tarnish, but those sensitive to copper may have a reaction causing it to darken. Lightly buffing it will return it to it's natural shine.
Gold Fill : Gold filled metal is a thick layer of 14k rose gold or yellow gold mechanically pressure bonded to copper or brass. It is hundreds of times thicker and more durable than plated metals. Gold filled is not gold plated as gold filled contains more gold than gold plated metals. It is much more valuable and tarnish resistant than gold plated. It will not flake off, rub off or turn colors, and will last as long as 14K gold. Anyone who can wear gold, can wear gold filled without worry of allergic reaction.
Sterling Silver : Sterling silver is a popular and heavy weight material. It will tarnish over time and in accordance to your skin pH. Please know that while most commercial sterling is rhodium plated to help prevent tarnishing, TSB's sterling is not. Your jewelry items will need to be cleaned regularly and stored in an air tight container while not being worn.
Fine Silver : While sterling contains .925 silver, fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. It will not tarnish and is great for those with skin allergies.
HANDSTAMPING IS ****NOT**** ENGRAVING. What is the difference? Most engraved jewelry today is done by machine, whether a giant laser or an electronic pen. Engraving removes the surface layer of metal. Hand stamping is done one character / symbol at a time using a metal rod. The rod is hammered into the metal creating an impression. The impression displaces the metal which can result on markings on the reverse side.
L E A T H E R / S U E D E:
It is highly recommended that you remove all leather or suede items BEFORE showering / swimming, etc. Water can shorten the life span of these items. For dyed leather or suede, some color transfer is normal and should be expected. Most leather items are hand dyed. There can be a color variation of 5% between items from the same dye lot.
S I Z I N G / C O L O R S:
PLEASE READ THE LISTINGS CAREFULLY! Sizes, shapes, colors, etc. are included in the description! Colors especially, vary depending on your monitor and screen settings. I DO NOT offer refunds or exchanges on items because they are too large or too small, it is your responsibility to make sure the items you order are the right size. If you are unsure of your bracelet size, please let me know so I can help you measure your wrist BEFORE you place an order!
B A T T E R I E S:
Some items, such as watches, are battery powered. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to have the battery replaced if it needs to be changed. If you can not change the battery yourself, most stores that sell watches offer a battery replacement service.
O T H E R:
I send my items with the purchase receipt. If you are purchasing an item as a gift, PLEASE let me know at checkout so I can make sure NOT to include it!
Please make sure to include all the relevant order info at checkout. After your order is submitted, I may not receive messages in time to change your order.
Please note: my jewelry has small parts and is not intended for small children or babies who may put pieces in their mouth, as it could be a hazard. Customers assume full liability for any jewelry purchased.
