July Reading Recap
July was another fifteen book month, which honestly shocks me. However, August is starting off very slow due to a HoSaB hangover, so it will probably be a much lighter month.
In July I read fifteen total books. Five of those were ARCs and three were audiobooks. I’m still not a huge audiobook fan, but it really worked for Illuminae. My favorite books of July were Paladin’s Grace, Divine Rivals, Illuminae and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi. To be fair, none of the books I read in July were bad, it’s just those four are the ones that resonated the strongest with me. However, I do find myself randomly thinking about The Meadows, Only Good Enemies and Bittersweet in the Hollow from time to time, so maybe those will be the honorable mentions of the month.

August has started off with an audiobook of The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston and finally reading House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas, which I’m sure is going to lead to a slump, but hopefully I can pull myself out of it enough to read some of the books that have been sitting on my TBR for an eternity!
