April & May Reading Recaps

I knew I was behind on posting, but I didn’t realize I was two months behind! Welp, here are April and May’s recaps. I’ll also be posting some of my May reviews before moving onto June.

I read eleven books in April. Five were ARCs (advance reader copies), and one was an audiobook. My favorite book of April was Star Splitter by Matthew J. Kirby.

May was a slow month due to my Apollyon hangover and the new Zelda game (Tears of the Kingdom) coming out. June is looking to be a slower month as well because I am still wrapped up in Zelda. I’m also currently reading a book I’m not really vibing with but am determined to push through.

I read eleven books again in May. Four were ARCs, two were audiobooks and I temporarily DNF’d one book. It was an audiobook and I was lost due to the vast amount of characters that were introduced. It’s an upcoming Illumicrate book, so I’m hoping that reading it will make it easier to keep track of. My favorite read this month was Gwen & Art Are Not In Love. The UK edition is out now (and the cover is way prettier) and the U.S. edition comes out in November.
