New Features & Known Site Issues
Hello All!
The site has been active for roughly 18 hours now and I wanted to let you know about the new features and some known issues that I’m trying to figure out. If you run into any issues, PLEASE comment on this post and I will add them to my list of things I’m trying to fix!
Sign In Form
Yay for finally having an area to create an account… Boo for it only working sporadically. What it’s supposed to do, is bring you back to the homepage with a create an account pop up… what it seems to be doing is refreshing the homepage repeatedly. The work around I have found is to double click the link or right click and open in a new tab and it shows up. I guess this has something to do with the layout I have chosen for the site not having a built in account link and having to kind of back door it. Oddly enough, the specific store / commerce layouts do not include this standard…

Wholesale Accounts
Whaaaaaaaaaa? WHOLESALE?! Yes! FINALLY! If you are interested in purchasing wholesale, please send me a message via the contact form to set up an account and gain access. Also, how gorgeous is the log in screen? The photo is courtesy of Jessie Wyman Photography. She has hit it out of several parks with our collaboration.
Missing Products
Yes…. I know…. I’m going as fast as I can adding all of the old (and the new) products with all their variations. This is a completely different system than the last site (which is GOOD), but there is also a learning curve to it. If there is something you’ve had your eye on and desperately need it right nyao! just shoot me a message and I will make it a priority to add. There are a lot of old and new product photos to go through (and I may need to find my hard drive in the chaos of my studio), so please bear with me during this process. The end result will be so much better than the last site!
Gift cards! Available in $25-$100!
Gift Cards
I mean, finally! Gift cards are available in $25 increments up to $100. The purchase of one provides a unique code that can be gifted and used to take that specified amount off of a purchase. You can also use them for a sort of internet layaway if there is something you’ve had your eye on that you need a bit to save up for but are horrible at not spending the money you set aside. (This is the sole reason why I do not own pretty much everything I have been drooling over for the last… forever.) Also, please excuse the random horribleness of the gift card graphic… it’s supposed to look like the image on the left and not the blurry mess that is currently shown.
Instagram Connection & Pinterest Integration
Yet again, finally! Keep up to date with my social media bumblings. I swear, the older you get, the less technologically inclined you become. The homepage has a real-time Instagram feed, so I will be forced to post better photos (LOL), and hover over each image to see the pin icon in the corner. Now, because I have switched hosts, none of my shoppable Instagram posts will work. It will take you to an awesome 404-Not Found page. Please rest assured that I will do all in my power to fix that… but it’s not going to happen overnight.
That is about all my chaotic brain can think of right now. I’m sure there will be an edit or five coming in the next few hours, but like I said, if you see something glitchy, let me know so I can get tech support to look into it. If you have any questions / comments / feedback, again, comment below!

International Shipping
Well this is a fun one. I’m used to selecting my carrier service and letting rates be populated based on item weight, destination and service selected. That’s……. not a thing anymore. At least, not outside the US. I now have to enter the shipping costs for each country manually. I have it set up now for Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with a few of the other Asian and African countries I’ve sold to thrown in. I am not shipping to South America as I have always had problems with packages arriving. If I have forgotten your country, please let me know and I will make sure to add it to the list.
Weirdly Cropped, Zoomed & Taking Forever to Load Photos
Yeah, I know. I have been trying to figure out what size the template needs the photos and I can not find that information anywhere. All I can say is that Etsy requires wide photos, and the new site wants tall and long. I am in the process of retaking all of my product photos, so this will not be a forever thing. Just a super inconvenience right now.
Shop Sections
If you’ve noticed, there have been more shop sections popping up. In addition to the Made to Order section which houses all of my everyday products and the Wholesale section for wholesale clients, there is a Limited Collections section. Limited Collections will be completely one of a kind items will be posted. The section is password protected and the password will change with each new release. The password will be given out a week early to those who subscribe to my newsletter. Sneak peeks will be posted on Instagram, so make sure you follow and sign up!
